Alignment with Prevention Science
The PA Prevention Conference focuses on evidence-informed prevention strategies that strengthen protective factors and improve community health outcomes. Exhibitors should align with effective prevention approaches. CPA may decline vendors who promote programs or services inconsistent with prevention science.
For example, CPA does not approve vendors promoting ineffective strategies (see linked document below) that are not part of comprehensive prevention strategies. Learn more about what works in prevention: paprevention.org/what-works-in-prevention.
Industry Restrictions
CPA does not permit exhibits promoting or representing industries that conflict with prevention goals, including alcohol, cannabis/marijuana, tobacco or vaping products, gambling, or related marketing/promotional industries.
